CIVIC GALLERY OF MEDIEVAL, MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY ART

VILLA CROZE, a picturesque liberty style Villa, built by the architect Costantini for Croze’s family at the beginning of XX century. Today the Villa guests The Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art with a collection of masterpieces of the Middle Age, modern and contemporary art, collected with love by the citizen Giovanni Paludetti and donated afterwards to the town. The Villa is located along Viale della Vittoria, initially called “viale dei passeggi”, was built in 1866 after the unification of the two old municipalities of Ceneda and Serravalle. Along the avenue, you can still admire many villas, belonged to rich bourgeoisie families of the XIX century. At n ° 158, we find the beautiful Villa Chiggiato projected by the architect Motta, with a wide park, ancient trees, and the house of the gardener, a stable and a greenhouse.
