THE RESURRECTIONÂ
The work was located in the church of the Benedictine nuns of Ognissanti in Treviso. Overwhelmed the church and the convent, a great diatribe arose between Edwards and the public domain;however, it was sold to Giuseppe Mandruzzato, who inherited the cedettero to the Pinacoteca di Treviso in 1939 at his death.
In this work we can note the approach to the mannerist culture of the landscape with respect to the characters: in reality, this aspect of reducing the human figure in relation to the environment brings the painting closer to other more complex ones.
